Tooth Loss And Breast Cancer – Mystified Links
According to the suggestions given by a newer study, it may be true that breast cancer may be associated to the tooth loss and ill dental health. This study reveals the fact that women who have teeth missing or frequent tooth aches, or any of those gum diseases, may be eleven times more prone to suffering from the fatal disease of breast cancer.
This study has been performed by one of the Sweden institutes, the Karolinska Institute, and over 3000 patients had been engaged in the research. The research illustrated that out of 41 people with breast cancer disease, those who were suffering from dental ill health, gum diseases and lost teeth, were 11 time more prone to the cancer. But since this is the very foremost study of its kind, there are needed more proofs and evidences to support the research and to finally arrive at a firm conclusion.
Diverting the topic to general health, the researchers explained that ill dental and oral health is a prime cause for most diseases of the general health.
Plaque is the base of all the bacterial diseases arising in the mouth. Plaque generates bacteria, which in turn cause gum and tooth decay, loosening the grip of the teeth, causing them to fall. Hence, the doctors at the study demo said that they were finding links between presence of plaque in the oral area and cancers of the breast.
The study also suggests diabetes being one of the end effects of poor dental and oral hygiene. Persistence of plaque in the mouth can be associated to various other physical disorders like loss of red blood plates, diabetes, chest aches, throat infections, and so on.
For the time being, taking the study into consideration makes no harm, but is only beneficial for those who take it seriously. If not the susceptibility to breast cancer, at least the condition of teeth and gums, and overall general body health will appear on the verge of improvement.
